Sand is the foundation for most of my work. I consider sand to be a precious stone. It's energetically grounding & calming. When I fuse common beach sand in glass, it becomes magnified as sparkly Beach Diamonds. When I rake sand, I transform open beach space into captivating large-scale designs that almost stop time.

I hold a BA business, I am a certified Integral Yoga & meditation teacher, Usui Reiki practitioner & an ayurvedic counselor. I began glassblowing after college while grieving the loss of my brother Robin to cancer. Then I worked full-time for independent jewelry designers in New York City. Seeking freedom from the fast pace, I moved to San Diego, California where I launched my first jewelry company, Tiny7, which evolved into The Beach Diamond. ​
