I can't remember a time I didn't love going to the beach. I was the girl who skipped school to surf the perfect swell. Always doodling waves in my notebooks. Covering my bedroom with surf magazine pages.
This obsession with the sea never ended as I studied and taught Yoga at beachside parks, leading meditations and pursuing artistic outlets like lampworking, where I discovered how to blend beach sands into glass.
My perspective on creating art is very grounded in the retro surf culture of the 90s. These days, carving fresh sand with a rake is what moves me most.
